About

OVRE formed organically over many years of creative pursuits, and it’s a bit of wordplay on the French word “oeuvre,” which means ‘body of work.’ I studied and worked in Maryland and West Virginia before moving to Buffalo, where I currently reside with my partner and our two adorable cats. As an interdisciplinary artist, I’ve collaborated widely with dancers, visual artists, filmmakers, and theatre companies. At OVRE, I truly believe that the journey is the destination and that together we are Weaving The Path.

Tabla is a core study of my rhythmic research and practice. Rhythm is mantra, and mantra is prayer.
